Workshop limited to 16 students.

What do we sacrifice when we prioritize "game" over world-building? What is possible in our improv when we do the latter in service of the former? In this workshop, participants practice integrating game only once they've earned it through scenic clarity, strong character and emotional stakes. Whether you're new to game, or a veteran, this workshop will challenge you to avoid the trap of game for game's sake. Rather, through specific deals/POVs, environmental exploration and a recommitment to truth in comedy, participants will learn to organically discover game in rich and textured scenes.
